Day 3

Little Bebe is in a One Kid heart cardigan, Old Navy red polka dot dress, Gap ruffle socks, Livie & Luca Minnies and a headband a friend made.

Tillie wore a Gap heart tee(Goodwill), Gap skinny jeans and a My Little Pixies clip.

And, yes, I was phoning it in with Ted's outfit today.  At least he's wearing red!  It's a red Naartjie hoodie and Carter's knit pants.  The pants are a 2t and run small -- they're actually too short for him already.  The hoodie is also a 2t, but rather big.  All together it's a totally awesome outfit, no?

Valentine's Week!

Hooray!  Red and/or Pink Week is here!  I have the kids outfits planned for everyday and they have a lot of great things to wear -- too many options even.  I like red, pink and hearts, so it's on a lot of their clothes anyway.

Teddy is wearing red Gap skinny jeans and a Gap Urban Adventures chambray tee.  He had Livie & Luca fox shoes at church, but I didn't get a picture of him there.

Tillie's wearing a flutter dress I made years ago.  I think it's technically a McCall's size 2, but as you can see it runs super-wide.  It's just about too short for her as a dress, but with Gymboree tights and shorts under it it worked.  Her bow and necklace are DreamSpun and her shoes are Circo.

Beatrix is wearing a Gap Love Collection sweater dress, craft show headband, OshKosh tights and Gymboree shoes.

Pretty in Blue

My sweet Bea is wearing a Gap outfit I bought during Once Upon a Child's $1 sale when I was pregnant with Teddy.  A friend of mine made her headband.

Blue and Cream

We had some great coordinating going on today for church!  Tillie was the only one with a new outfit.  She's wearing a Mae Li Rose sweater from DreamSpun, Old Navy leggings(size 6-7, she's not too tall, but has long legs) and Circo cat shoes.

Teddy's wearing Gap sweater, shirt and cords with a Crazy 8 tie.  Beatrix is wearing a Gap dress and shoes with and Old Navy bodysuit and tights.

A Stripey Day

Tillie is wearing a crewcuts sequined tee with Gap jeans and Circo cat shoes.

Pink Sisters

The other day when my matching hairbow order came in I asked Tillie, "Do you like matching Bea?"  She replied, "Yes, but not every day."  I told her if she ever wanted to stop to let me know, but now I'm loving that they let me do this.

I bought these dresses from Next with a $20 off referral code I had.  Bea's came with coordinating tights.  My friend made her white bow headband and she's wearing Gap boots.  These boots are adorable and warm, but I constantly have to be on "boot watch" if she's wearing them when we're out since they always fall off.

Tillie's wearing hers with Gap jeans and Circo boots.  You can't see it, but her clip is a Hello Kitty head.  She picked it out at a recent craft sale.

Christmas Church Outfits

We were almost(okay, were) late for church this morning, so I didn't get many retakes this morning.  You can still kind of see their outfits.

Bea is wearing a polka dotted Old Navy dress I bought during their 50% off Black Friday preview sale.  Her headband is from a local school craft fair.  Her socks are Gymboree purchased when I was pregnant on a super-clearance and the shoes had been Tillie's.

Tillie's wearing a DreamSpun Christmas dress my mom got from their samples.  It has a little spot on the back neck, but her hair covers it.  She adores this dress and I quite like it on her too!  Her knee socks are Gymboree, her bow is Dear Grace & Parker and her shoes are Circo.  I made her necklace a year ago.  She has quite a few dressy Christmas outfits, but I think this one might be the winner for the church Christmas program.  We'll see how I feel on the 14th.

Teddy's wearing a Gap sweater and chambray shirt with Old Navy pants.  The pants are a 2t and actually getting a little short, but we paired them with striped Circo socks and called it good.  He was happy I told him to wear his gray TOMS today.  Gap has a version of this sweater every year and this 2t is from 2 years ago.  He wore it once for some pictures and I'm not very happy with how it washed up.  I think I need to take a sweater comb to it.

Pumpkin "Picking"

We went to pick out our pumpkins after school today.  And, since it's October 1 it's only appropriate that they wore Halloween clothes.

I bought Tillie and Teddy's shirts last year at Crazy 8 after Halloween for less than $3 each.  Beatrix actually has a matching shirt to Tillie, but it's a 6-12m and still a little big.  Tillie is wearing hers with a Hanna Andersson skirt, Circo cat shoes and a Dreamspun bow.  Teddy has Gap jeans and gray TOMS.

Beatrix is wearing a Gap Halloween romper I bought last year just in case it turned out I was having a girl.  (It was on extreme price kill after Halloween.)

Gap Skinny Jeans for All

I bought Bea this Mini-Boden hedgehog tee for $6 last year during their end of season sale.  We paired it with Gap skinny jeans and See Kai Run mary janes.

Ted's wearing new Gap jeans I bought last week.  They were 40% off and I could use my GapCash.  They're not so akinny on him, but they are long enough!  He was so happy that it's cool enough for his long-sleeved crewcuts fire truck tee.

Rounding Out The 0-3m

This was a dress Bea never wore this summer because it looked too fall-ish to me and super-wide.  I bought it at Gymboree last winter for $3 or less.  It's from the Sweetie Bird line.  It is wide, so it still works as a tunic with her Gap jeggings(3-6m) today.  I wish we would have gotten more wear out of it, but I didn't expect a baby that actually grew when she was suppose to!  The clippie was Tillie's first one.  I bought it at a craft show.

First Day of Kindergarten!

Tillie started real school today!  Thankfully it's only mornings so I don't lose her for the whole day yet.  I had ordered her a Next outfit during a sale this summer, but their 5-6 is too big for her.  It fits more like a 6, so if we don't find anything else better she might wear it for the first day of 1st Grade.  I found another shirt I liked, but Tillie didn't.  She loved this Next dress, so I spent a little more than I wanted(although I made my brother order it for me so I could get a "new customer" discount).  We're going to use it for our fall family pictures as well, so that helped justify it.

I couldn't believe it when I opened the package and saw an apple front and center.  It's like they knew they were sending it for the first day of school!  Her bow is from a boutique near Camp, her school are OshKosh(from last year) and her ruffle socks are crewcuts.

I bought her backpack 2 years ago from Pottery Barn Kids.  It was too big for her for preschool, so we saved it until now.  Luckily she still likes it and was excited to use it!  I'd like to get her a "monogrammed" name tag, but I haven't seen one I like at a price I want to pay.

She had a great first day.  She tried chocolate milk(didn't like it), got play on the WHOLE playground and had one girl friend from last year in her class and they got to sit together!  I think it's going to be a great year.

Family Reunion

Tillie wore a (no brand) bubble knot top and DreamSpun leggings to my family reunion today.  I found the top for 50% off at a local consignment store.  When I showed my cousin she said she *almost* bought it a couple days before.  I guess we'll have to let her borrow it!  It's a three, but works on my slim girl still.  I decided today that I don't really love knot tops without shirt under them.  If it still fits, I think it would look great layered with a cream tee, skinny jeans and boots this fall.

Pink Bunnies

We're at home for one more day, but most of our clothes are still at Camp.  And, most of the clothes at home are the "nicer" things the kids own.  We decided to go to the farmer's market in style this morning.

I actually bought Bea this Beatrix Potter for babyGap dress this week.  I found it half price at Once Upon a Child for only $3.25.  Obviously she had to have it.   Her little clip was Tillie's first clip.  Til couldn't wear it until she was about 4 months old.

Teddy's wearing "Little Os" overalls from The Mighty Acorns, the old boys' line from Matilda Jane.  He's pretty proud of the acorn on them.  I probably would have layered a white tee under it, but they're all at Camp.  He didn't mind.

Tillie's wearing a crewcuts dress I bought ages ago.  It's a size 3, but ran super-wide.  It finally fits around her well, but is pretty short.  I thought about putting denim bermundas under it, but they're also at Camp.  Adding a crewcuts tulle skirt probably matched better anyway.

The colors of their outfit look pretty cute together.

I also like how both Tillie and Teddy have criss-cross straps.

Camp Clothes and Tillie's Style

I fount this homemade outfit at a consignment sale for only a few dollars.  I knew Tillie would like it and be happy that I'd let her play in it at Camp.  (While I usually let Tillie play in whatever she's wearing, there are a lot of outfits I don't let her wear at Camp.)  She added the Keen sneakers.  They were $2 at a garage sale.

Teddy's wearing a Gap tee from Goodwill and Hanna Andersson shorts from a friend's garage sale.  His Keen sandals were a steal from Amazon this winter.  They're *almost* too small, so cross your fingers his feet don't grow until after Camp!

Tulips?

I don't know, but maybe the flowers on this Circo dress are tulips?  It is nearly Tulip Time!  This dress was Tillie's, but the Circo leggings were recently purchased.  The headband is from Dear Grace and Parker on Etsy.

Big Sister & Hand-Me-Downs

This purple Carter's sunsuit was Tillie's and now Bea gets to wear it.  I hope she doesn't mind hand-me-downs, because she's going to have a ton of them!  I layered it over a long sleeve Carter's bodysuit and added polka dot BabyLegs(from my cousin Cara!).  Her headband is from Dear Grace and Parker.  A lot of my newborn clothes are either too short for Beatrix or not seasonally appropriate, so we have get creative.  I think it ended up darling!

This is the Carter's t-shirt Tillie wore to the hospital to meet Beatrix.  She's pretty proud of it, and if you ask her what it says she adds "EVER" at the end.  Her skirt is crewcuts and the leggings are Hanna Andersson.  At school she wore her red/coral TOMS mary janes.

Today's Adventure: McDonald's & Target

Tillie had one request for Spring Break -- go to the play place at a McDonald's.  I think she'd gotten to do it once before on a road trip.  We picked Tim up from school and had lunch with him.  I'd be okay not going to another play place for a long, long time.  It was a lot of NOISY big kids.  Maybe during spring break wasn't the best timing.  I bribed them to leave early by offering a trip to Target to look at toys.

Teddy's wearing a crewcuts astronaut dog shirt I bought this week.  It was 40% the sale price in store(much cheaper than online!) and I knew he would just love it.  Also, it glows in the dark.  His red skinny jeans are Gap and his See Kai Run sneakers are from a garage sale, but I'm pretty sure they're from our friend Gus.  (I know his mom had things at this sale.)  Teddy loves them because he thinks the red wagon logo on the sole is a fire truck.

Tillie's wearing a homemade knot dress I bought at the Polka Dot Pearl sale last weekend.  There were two boxes of her daughters' outgrown clothes for sale and Tillie picked this out.  It was only $3 and I think she'll be able to wear it for a long time.  (Actually, it's pretty wide so it might actually be a knot top instead of a dress.)  Tillie's kind of over the moon about the fact that it's a "play dress".  She's already excited about wearing it at Camp.  We layered it over a cream Next tee from the thrift store.

Sunny Sunday

Oh, these silly kiddos.  Tillie is wearing a crewcuts cardigan with a white Old Navy layering tank.  I just bought her Hen & Chic(I can find NOTHING about this "brand" online.  It's handmade.) skirt at a consignment sale Friday.  It has a wiener dog applique that wraps around the skirt.  Teddy thinks it's hilarious.  I actually bought it in 2 colors because they were only $5.  The other is more orange/pink/brown.  I think she'll wear this one this summer with a navy or white  favorite tank and the orange one next fall with boots and a brown tee.

Teddy is wearing a Gymboree button-up(thrift store), Circo tie, Sonoma pants and navy TOMS.  He didn't want to wear the tie.  I said, "It's kind of like a daddy tie."  He replied, "Kinda like, no."  I told him he had to try it anyway and then he left it on no problem.

20 More Years, Please

Sure, his Carter's shirt says he's the Most Eligible Bachelor, but he's only 2. ;)  He's also wearing red Gap skinny jeans and gray Cons.  AND! He has a haircut scheduled for next Tuesday.  I can't wait.

Tillie's wearing a flutter dress I made for her 3 years ago.  It's apparently a McCall's size 2.  Yeah.  It finally fits and she LOVES it.  I added a flower button to the back last week and it's like I gave her the moon.  She's talked about that flower button no less than 4 times today.  Since it's cold, we layered a crewcuts tissue tee and jeggings under it.  The size 4 jeggings are WAY too short, but they still work with boots.  Her bow and necklace are from DreamSpun.

A Willing Model

Teddy was having nothing to do with pictures today.  He's wearing a Carter's layered-look polo(garage sale) with Genuine Kids skinny jeans.  His shoes are Converse and my cousin made his new hat! (Little Sweet Pea Crochet)
