Going Green

The only thing we do to celebrate St. Patrick's Day is wear green(and orange), but Tillie wants to celebrate EVERY holiday to the max.  She asks me everyday why we don't have more decorations for St. Patrick's Day.  I told her she could start wearing green today and she was all about it.  These Naartjie outfits are perfect for that!  When I look at how cute and coordinated they are it makes me so sad that Naartjie is gone.

The girls stayed home all day, so no shoes or bows.

Also, this picture is a good example of their hair.  When people talk about how light Bea's hair is I just think about how dark it is compared to the other two!

Chambray

We went out for brunch this morning and I just wasn't feeling any of Bea's clothes.  (I know, shut up.)  I found this Gap Love Collection dress in her closet and decided to try it on even though it's 12-18m.  It's big, but it worked since she's tall.  I found it at Goodwill for a $1.  I couldn't believe it!  I wanted to buy it last year at Gap, but since she didn't need it I resisted.  (See Tim, I don't buy everything I want.)  Her leggings are Gap Galicia and her boots are Gap as well.  (I never did figure out what line they're from.  I bought them last winter.)  Her clip is Little Sweet Pea Crochet.  (Parentheses.)

Blue and Cream

We had some great coordinating going on today for church!  Tillie was the only one with a new outfit.  She's wearing a Mae Li Rose sweater from DreamSpun, Old Navy leggings(size 6-7, she's not too tall, but has long legs) and Circo cat shoes.

Teddy's wearing Gap sweater, shirt and cords with a Crazy 8 tie.  Beatrix is wearing a Gap dress and shoes with and Old Navy bodysuit and tights.

3rd Sunday of Advent

It was a busy morning with program practice, so this was the best picture I got of the girls together.  Beatrix is wearing an outfit that was Tillie's(Kizie had a coordinating one then!), Old Navy skirt and tights, Gymboree bodysuit and shoes with a Dear Grace & Parker bow.  Tillie's wearing a Benetton skirt(Goodwill), Children's Place tee, Target tights and Circo cat shoes.

Since Tillie was an angel during the program at night, I didn't want a dark outfit that would show through her costume.  I got her Gap dress from last year out of the attic and it still fits her very nicely!  Her cardigan is Gap(she took it off when she wore her costume) and her shoes are crewcuts.  She loves these shoes, but she doesn't get many opportunities to wear them.  I better find some outfits soon because they run a bit small and I don't think she'll be able to wear them for long.

Color Happy

I bought these Gymboree Color Happy outfits last winter after finding out I'd have daughters to dress.  There was an extra percentage off sale and I had a coupon.  Also, I thought it might be the last year Tillie would let me dress her in this kind of outfit, so she got the over-the-top polka dot match.

Oh, this makes me so happy.

Pink Sisters

The other day when my matching hairbow order came in I asked Tillie, "Do you like matching Bea?"  She replied, "Yes, but not every day."  I told her if she ever wanted to stop to let me know, but now I'm loving that they let me do this.

I bought these dresses from Next with a $20 off referral code I had.  Bea's came with coordinating tights.  My friend made her white bow headband and she's wearing Gap boots.  These boots are adorable and warm, but I constantly have to be on "boot watch" if she's wearing them when we're out since they always fall off.

Tillie's wearing hers with Gap jeans and Circo boots.  You can't see it, but her clip is a Hello Kitty head.  She picked it out at a recent craft sale.

It's time for Red and Green!

After a month of pulling out brown and orange whenever I could, I'm so happy to have the kids wear Christmassy outfits again.  Today the girls are wearing Naartjie outfits.  I got Bea's for $6 in September.  I ordered Tillie's in October with KidKash(like Gymbucks) that someone gave me.

  I ordered Tillie a green outfit in September, but it's a 6 and a little big.  This red one is size 5.  She was really excited when I opened this package -- her two favorite colors!  Her red felt bow was from a Dear Grace and Parker sale earlier this month.

Bea's outfit is 6-12 month and is still a little big.  That means you'll probably see it on her around St. Patrick's Day as well!  Her boots are Gap.

I'm really going to miss this brand if they don't stick around.

"Opposite" Sisters

Don't tell Tillie that she and Bea are matching today.  She'll immediately tell you that they're opposites.  She does have a point.  They're both wearing Naartjie outfits from this fall.  If you love Naartjie, you should stock up now.  Their retail stores are going out of business and it's unkown whether or not they'll continue on as an online store.  I bought one outfit for each girl for next fall/winter, just in case.

Copper Mountain

Copper Mountain is one of my favorite Gap lines, ever.  It came out the fall when Tillie was a baby and I bought quite a few pieces for her to wear the next fall.  Over the years I've picked up more of it whenever I found it second hand.

Tillie's wearing a Copper Mountain sherpa pullover and buffalo check skirt.  She's also wearing her Gap apple boots and cable knee socks.  Her bow is Dreampsun  Teddy's wearing a Copper Mountain tee over his Okaïdi button-up and red Gap skinny jeans.  His brown boots don't have a brand, but my sister bought them for him.

I know I'll be able to get another year out of Teddy's shirt, but I'm hopeful Tillie's skirt will still fit as well, because Bea will have some coordinating things as well!  Oh, coordinating makes me so happy.

Coordinating For Everyone!

Last year I had crewcuts tees for Tillie and Teddy that were the same colors.  They both still fit, so I was happy for them to wear them again this year.  I was a little sad that Bea didn't have a matching shirt though.  Yesterday when I pulled the 9m clothes out of the attic I realized that Tillie had had some Carter's bodysuits that had some similar colors.

Bea and Tillie both are wearing Ralph Lauren jumpers.  I bought Tillie's for a few dollars at a garage sale a couple years ago and found a 9m one at Once Upon a Child's $1 sale this winter.

Purple

Tillie and Beatrix are wearing matching Naartjie dresses today.  They're both wearing Gap skinny jeans.  Tillie's wearing Gap Fuggs and Bea has Gap boots.  Tillie made me turn up the cuff on Beatrix's boots so they matched hers better.

They really do love each other.

Not to be left out, Teddy is wearing a purple Gap Men's Club striped sweater with Gap jeans and gray TOMS.

Election Day!

We all(even Tim, unintentionally!) rocked red, white and blue today.

Ted is wearing red Gap skinny jeans and Gap Urban Adventures chambray shirt with Live & Luca fox shoes.  I love, love, love this outfit.

Tillie's wearing a navy Gap Seaside set, crewcuts necklace, DreamSpun bow and TOMS.  (The socks are from school.  She can only get her indoor shoes on if she's wearing socks.  Normally I'm pretty anti-socks with leggings, but I've learned to let go for school.)

Stripey Sisters

Today Beatrix is wearing the dress (Gap Boho) Tillie wore on her first Thanksgiving.  I never got a picture of Tillie in it and she only wore it that once.  It was from a garage sale and I didn't pay much for it.  My cousin made her little clippie - Little Sweet Pea Crochet.  We have 4 of them and they stay in her fine hair nicely.

Tillie's wearing a Gap Boho(Outlet version) outfit I bought at a garge sale this spring.  It's a 4 and kind of too small, but I remembered I had the dress for Bea so I bought it for them to coordinate anyway.  As soon as Tillie saw her outfit this morning she said, "OOH!  Bea and I kind of match today!"  I'm going to go with it while they still let me!  Her leggings are Cherokee and her boots are Circo.  The gold boots are not my favorite, but Tillie loves them.  And, they were 70% off last spring so at less than $5 they'll do.

Teddy's a brand mixing jackpot today.  His One Kid button-up and Janie & Jack vest are both from Goodwill.  His crewcuts cords I bought when I was still working there.  They're a 3, straight leg and way too big for my taste, but once he tried them on he wouldn't take them off.  He's wearing his brown Cons, but they're getting rather small so I didn't put socks on.  He needs new brown shoes, but I'm picky and cheap and haven't found anything yet.

Scarily Cute Sisters

They're both even wearing patent leather mary janes.  Tillie's are Stride Rite from a garage sale and Bea's are Gymboree I bought when Tillie was little.

ArtPrize Sisters

My coordinating girls are brightly dressed for ArtPrize in Hanna Andersson playdresses.  Tillie's is from Costco and I got Bea's for $5(NWT!) at a JBF sale.  I love how both of their dresses have yellow trim.

p.s. Teddy is wearing a lot of the same clothes he's been wearing.  Boy needs a growth spurt so I'll have new clothes to show you!

Animals

I bought Beatrix this Mini-Boden bird print dress at Nordstrom Rack last Spring when I was pregnant.  It's a 0-3m, and on all my other kids they wore Boden when they were a size bigger.  Well, I think this dress runs more true to size, as does Bea!  She's wearing it with Gap boots(from Tillie) and Gap Wonderland socks.  Tillie's wearing the Mini-Boden dress she wore last fall for our family pictures with the cutest socks from Gap.  They're some sort of animal, but we decided to call the Fox Socks, because that's just fun.  Her bow is Gap and her shoes are OshKosh.

Teddy's wearing a Mini-Boden snake tee over his Okaidi button-up.  His chinos are crewcuts and his shoes are TOMS.  I loved how Tillie and Bea coordinated today, but I think Ted's outfit was my favorite.  I'm so happy I get to dress them in layers again.

Aqua

I bought Tillie and Teddy these matching shirts last summer before I knew I'd have a third child to dress.  So, Tillie wore a mint dress, but Til and Ted were perfectly coordinated!

Tillie's tank is Gap Villa Oasis and her shorts are crewcuts.  I bought these shorts because I knew they'd be so cute with a Camp staff shirt, but of course the kid shirt was gray this year so she didn't wear them much at Camp.  (They're not her first choice in clothing...)  Teddy's shirt is Gap Sunkissed Staples and his shorts are Old Navy.

French Fashions!

When my dad went to Europe early this summer I asked him to buy some clothes for my kids.  I'm not going to lie, I was a little worried about what he would pick out, so I gave him a few suggestions. 1. No "airport t-shirts".  2.  Tillie likes dresses. 3.  Teddy would be over the moon with a foreign fire truck shirt.  He ended up having everyone in his group looking for fire trucks, but none were found.  Instead he bought these outfits at Okaïdi ins Strausbourg and knocked it out of the park.  It was completely unintentional, but Teddy's shirt really ties all the colors together! (Dress, Cardigan, Dress, I never found Ted's shirt online.)

Teddy's chinos are crewcuts and he's also wearing navy TOMS.  Tillie's wearing an over-sized DreamSpun bow and crewcuts glitter ballet flats.  (He also bought Tillie a graphic tee that ties the cardigan to the dress, but we decided not to wear it today.)  Bea's wearing a Dear Grace and Parker headband.

Pink Bunnies

We're at home for one more day, but most of our clothes are still at Camp.  And, most of the clothes at home are the "nicer" things the kids own.  We decided to go to the farmer's market in style this morning.

I actually bought Bea this Beatrix Potter for babyGap dress this week.  I found it half price at Once Upon a Child for only $3.25.  Obviously she had to have it.   Her little clip was Tillie's first clip.  Til couldn't wear it until she was about 4 months old.

Teddy's wearing "Little Os" overalls from The Mighty Acorns, the old boys' line from Matilda Jane.  He's pretty proud of the acorn on them.  I probably would have layered a white tee under it, but they're all at Camp.  He didn't mind.

Tillie's wearing a crewcuts dress I bought ages ago.  It's a size 3, but ran super-wide.  It finally fits around her well, but is pretty short.  I thought about putting denim bermundas under it, but they're also at Camp.  Adding a crewcuts tulle skirt probably matched better anyway.

The colors of their outfit look pretty cute together.

I also like how both Tillie and Teddy have criss-cross straps.
