Errands Day

We took this second 90+* day as a sign that we needed to run into town to use the air conditioning at Target.  Tillie wore a Ralph Lauren pique set that I got at a garage sale.  The little roll-up shorts are so cute, but I wish they had button tabs on both sides so that they would stay rolled up.  Tillie picked her strawberry Tevas to wear.  They're from a garage sale too.

The pique just seemed too heavy for 93*, so after a short swim and a nap Tillie changed into this H&M butterfly dress.  It's the same style as her blue one -- only $5!  She requested these sparkly Morgan and Milos.  I got them free at a garage sale!   My mom got her the Lands' End clip.
I said to her, "Do you want braids, pigtails or a ponytail?  It's kind of hot for just a clip."  She replied, "I want a ponytail like you mom, but with a clip."

Pre-Painting

I was expecting that Tillie would spend a long day in the yard while I power washed the house.  Luckily for her, my mom and Kizie came to rescue her.  I dressed her in an OshKosh romper, Old Navy boys too small bucket hat, Tevas and a lot of sunscreen.

Shrine of the Pines

On Monday we went somewhere I've wanted to go for years.  We took Tillie to Shrine of the Pines.  It was so dorkily awesome.  Tillie wore her Gymboree Snuggle Bug halter with Jumping Bean capris.

For dinner, she wore an outfit from Aunt Karen and Uncle Paul.  They gave it to Tillie as a baby present thinking it would fit well this summer.  Correct!  It was just too cute.  My little beach baby.

Another Beach Day

We went to see my mom and Kizie again today.  Tillie wore a Genuine Kids top and Circo bermuda shorts.  She wore the top earlier this summer with some short shorts.  She's also worn it with denim shorts.  I think I like the denim shorts the best.

At the beach she wore her Gymboree bathing suit and iPlay swim diaper again.  I didn't realize it when I bought the two pieces, but it's really good I have the cloth swim diaper.  A Huggies swim diaper would go half way up her back and this Gymboree suit has a low back.  I got the Carter's sunhat at a garage sale for 50¢.  It was harder for me to get her to wear it here at the beach.  No one else was wearing hats!  She didn't even question it at Camp because all the little girlies wore hats.  I thought it was weird she was pretty much the only one.

Beach Day

We went to visit my mom and Kizie who are camping this week.  Tillie wore Gap Playtime Favorites  that I got on clearance last summer.  I adore this outfit; it's comfy and cute.

I also dressed her up in a dress my mom made for me as a baby.

Packing

I put Tillie to work this morning, finishing our packing.  It was HOT and STICKY at Camp.  Tillie's wearing an OshKosh shorts and tank set that was given to us as a baby gift.  (Or, my mom bought at Kohl's, I can't remember.)  I have a large selection of cheap Goody plastic barrettes for her.  They're adorable, cheap and match everything.  I love it because they're classic -I wore them as a kid- and it's okay if we lose one.

Opening Day at Camp.

New campers are checking in today.  That means staff shirts for the whole family.  The staff kids 'shirt' this year is adorable.  It's a drawing of the Ford Workmaster tractor camp has with kids riding the trailer.  I had the acorn clip custom made from Sew Sweet Stitches.  Her Tevas are great camp shoes and are from a consignment shop.
