Signs of Fall

Today for Show and Tell Tillie could bring something that reminded her of fall.  She came up with a long list, but some things were difficult to "show". (When it starts getting colder and you need cozy clothes.  When the flowers start to close up to go away for the winter.)  She settled on a pumpkin, which sounds like it was the most popular option for other kids as well.

Believe it or not, it was Tillie's idea to wear this Mini-Boden apple pocket skirt($4 at the JBF sale last week) and Gap apple boots.  I added the brown Mini-Boden top and Sew Sweet Stitches apple clip.

Also, she strategically placed those leaves in the ground around her.  Her idea, not mine.  This girl LOVES fall.

Bea is wearing a Baby Lulu dress that has acorns, leaves, pine needles and pine cones on it.  It's another Once Upon a Child $1 find.  The Gap Chelsea boots were Til's

More 6m

Slowly my little girl is able to wear some 3-6m clothes, like this Baby Lulu romper. (Once Upon a Child's $1 sale!)

Too Big!

Yep, that's my 3 month old trying to sit up.  She's wearing a Baby Lulu romper from Once Upon a Child. either the $1 sale or 50% off.  It's also the first 6m item she's worn, but it does run small.

Cozy

We're laying low today and Beatrix is wearing a Baby Lulu kimono set.  I found it at Once Upon a Child during their $1 sale.  It's size 3m and the pants needed to be rolled in the waist once, but the top fits well with a bodysuit under it.

Green & Leaves

I saw this jumper at Goodwill this week and thought it was pretty.  Then when I pulled it off the rack I saw it was Baby Lulu!  I've always wanted something Baby Lulu for Tillie since we called her Lulu before she was born.  This dress is size 18m, but since it was only 99¢ I bought it anyway.  For kicks, I tried it on Teddy when we got home.  It looked ridiculous for two reason.  He just looks too boyish in it and it was huge!  Since it was so big, I decided to give it a whirl on Tillie.  It's too short, but there's still room for more width when she's wearing it.  We added the Gap Villa Centinale skirt for some extra length and layered it over a polka dot Cherokee tee.  For whatever reason, Tillie really loves this dress.  She was mad that I made her change out of it for our Christmas tree cutting at night.
