Cheery Yellow

I know I say it often, but this Gap Rainforest top was another item I just couldn't resist.  It was on clearance, but 3-6m wasn't the best timing wise for getting the most wear out of a summer item.  I don't have high hopes of a long summer this year, but it's fitting her okay now.  I love the vintage look of the lace.

  I paired it with a ruffled Ralph Lauren diaper cover I got at a garage sale.

Signs of Spring

With a little girl who is eager for Spring, I can't help but pull out some brighter colors in their wardrobe.  Teddy's wearing a blue long sleeve tee from Zara, green Gap Lawn Party cargos from Goodwill and Livie & Luca elephant shoes from eBay.  (The shoes have seen better days.  I love the styles Live & Luca has, but their soft leather doesn't seem to hold up as well as other brands.)

Tillie's outfit centers around the yellow star crewcuts leggings.  She knew I was planning on wearing yellow skinny jeans tonight and she wanted to match me.  I picked the navy crewcuts dress to wear with it, and Tillie went from there.  When I picked the short sleeve dress I thought she would be staying home all day.  When we decided to run errands she add the My Little Pixies clip, $1 necklace, Circo boots and Gap Rainforest Collection jacket(5t).

*My kids don't wear coats in the car, so that's why they're coatless for the pictures.  It was also it the upper 30*s which felt warm since it's been much colder lately.  It's suppose to get up to 44* today!

Somedays We Just Throw Things Together

Today I pulled out a Gap Bodysuit but didn't want to put jeans with it.  I added the skirt I made this fall and it kind of matched.  With a navy Gap jacket and white BabyLegs it's spunky little outfit for her.  It's been a busy day, so this is the best picture I got.

Busy Morning

There was a consignment sale on the other end of town this morning.  Tillie got up early, so I decided to go to it.  Since it's so close to Robinette's and the Gardens, we stopped for doughnuts and a little garden time as well!

Tillie wore the popover pinafore I made her with a white pointelle Carter's bodysuit.  The jeans are Old Navy that I got at a garage sale for 25¢.  They're size 18-24m, but they fit more like a 12-18m.  She wasn't even wearing a cloth diaper this morning.  The navy jacket is from Gap's Rainforest line.

I will be sad when these Umi Cuddles don't fit her any more.

Cool Fall Morning

Oh how I love Autumn.  It's my favorite season.  I love the crisp air in the morning.  This morning we went to the Frederick Meijer Gardens.  Tillie wore and Old Navy tee, Gap jacket and denim jumper and her Umi sandals.  I guess we're not quite ready to give up all of summer.

It's a cool morning over here.  That meant I could break out an early fall outfit.  I adore fall clothes.  I'm a huge fan of layering.

I mean really, does it get much cuter?

I bought the navy jacket and denim skirt last summer from Gap.  The green stripe shirt is from Old Navy.  The shoes are hand-me-down from a friend and are Circo.

I love that there are stripes in the hood of the jacket to play off the striped tee.
