Lazy Saturday

We have a lot of randomness going on today.  The kids stayed home all day, so I let them wear whatever they wanted.

I helped Teddy pick out a crewcuts car tee and Gap jersey pants.  Beatrix is wearing a Hanna Andersson playdress I got at Goodwill.  Tillie is wearing an Old Navy tunic with boutique leggings.  Not her best match, but whatever.

They were all trying on their new Zulily TOMS that arrived this morning.

Day 5

I love these Old Navy dresses.  Tillie's wearing hers with Gap skinny jeans.  Bea wore matching Old Navy heart tights when we went to Costco.

Teddy's GQ pose is all his own. (Even though this pic is blurry I had to choose it.)  He's wearing a Carter's tee with Gap Playtime Favorites striped pants.  He wore red and navy striped socks with his TOMS to Costco.

Stripes and Bows

Teddy's wearing some new Gap Playtime Favorites striped pants today.  They're too big and a 2t.  *sigh*  At least they have a real drawstring waist so I can tighten them.  He LOVES them.  Today we paired them with a crewcuts ship tee layered over a white tee from H&M.  When we ran errands he wore his navy TOMS.

Bea's wearing her 3-6m Gap Highlander outfit for the last time today.  It was an excuse to wear the new Dear Grace & Parker headband that came in the mail this morning.

Classy Girl, Frat Boy and Growing Baby

Tillie's outfit today was based on the fact that she wanted to wear her crewcuts cap-toed ballet flats.  She doesn't have much in her summer/early-fall wardrobe that goes with black, so this Gap Playtime Favorites dress was pretty much her only option.  We added the DreamSpun necklace she made to make it "fancy" for church. (For my non-Facebook/IG readers, Tillie tripped on our brick sidewalk yesterday.  That's what her scraped up face and knees are from.)

Teddy's wearing Old Navy shorts and polo with his new gray TOMS.  The shoes are a 7 and just a little too big, but wearable.  He wanted them over his gray Star Wars slip-ons, which are getting a little small.  I'd guess he's actually in a 6.5 at the moment.

Beatrix is wearing a 0-3m Beatrix Potter for Baby Gap dress that I really need to pack away.  I think packing away all the 0-3m clothes will be my job this week(maybe after I squeeze her into a few of the outfits once more...).  I layered it over a Gap(3-6m) Park House bodysuit that has a hedgehog on it!  I just needed the cream sleeves since it's a little cool this morning.  Tillie even asked for a cardigan after taking the picture outside before church.  That's a first there, friends.

Citrus Slices

I bought Tillie this Garnet Hill skirt at a garage sale this spring.  It fits her nicely even though it's a 4.  I paired it with two Gap tanks and Tillie picked out the Livie & Luca bloom sandals.  Her My Little Pixies clip is even a lemon slice!

Dentist Day!

Just what every kid wants to do on their spring break!  (When I scheduled it I didn't realize that it was spring break.)

Tillie's wearing a new Gap shoe tee I bought this week.  Sale was 30% off, so I got it for $2.79.  I couldn't really resist that even though it's a size 4.  Kizie picked it out.  The shoes say "Let's Go" in yellow in them, so we added the crewcuts yellow star leggings under her chambray skirt.  Of course when you're wearing a shoe shirt you have to wear fancy shoes, like Circo sparkle ones.

This skirt is a size 3 and still gets worn more than any of her other skirts.  I'm thinking of making her one like it and almost bought fabric to do so last week.  But, then they didn't have what I was looking for at the location I stopped at.  If I don't do it now I'm not sure I'll get it done for a while...

Fire Truck Week!

Teddy would be all about this week's preschool theme.  Tillie doesn't have any police/fire fighter wear, so Ted got to rock his favorite Gap Playtime Favorites shirt today.  We hadn't paired it with red skinny jeans before, so it's kind of a fun option.  He insisted on his gray Star Wars slip-ons for preschool drop-off.  I suspect those shoes will be worn out before we could ever think about passing them down to another kid.

Tillie's wearing a Gymboree Girl Detective knit dress with Gymboree tulle leggings.  I got the dress at a garage sale a year or two ago.  It'd be a little short without leggings, but these pink ones work just fine with it.  Actually, it's a 4t, but oddly seems to run a little small.  Maybe I'll put it in the 3t bucket for little sister.  She wore her pink mary jane TOMS at school.

Girls and Boys

It was a lazy day today.  I've never been the mom who keeps her kids in pajamas all day, but I've been super-lazy about it this pregnancy.  We stayed home all day, but since we had friends over for dinner I made Tillie put clothes on after nap/rest time.  She's wearing a Strawberry Coral top my mom got her at DreamSpun.  I think it will be cuter in the summer as a tank, but I haven't decided what kind of bottoms to pair with it.  Maybe I should make shorties?  Today we layered it with a white Cherokee tee and Gap skinny jeans.  She picked out the pink Dreamspun bow to complete the girly look.  She calls this her "ballet tank top."

Teddy was happy to wear his "worker" shirt today.  He loves playing with his tool bench so he was all about this Gap Playtime Favorites shirt today.  These Gap Naval Academy jeans are size 12-18 months-- and they fit perfectly.  They were designed to be worn cuffed and we have them uncuffed.  This outfit has been in the diaper bag most of the fall/winter and I'm glad I remembered it because I think he might be wearing these jeans more often in the next few weeks.  He wore this same outfit last October, but we layered an H&M button-down under it today.

"I a super-hero!"

Teddy thinks this Hanna Andersson hoodie looks like a super-hero outfit.  I went with it because he really didn't want to change out of his Mater jammies.  I bought it from a facebook group earlier this year.  He's also wearing Old Navy jeans. (Of course they're almost getting too short, but the waist is still HUGE.)  No shoes, since he just stayed home all day.

Tillie apparently didn't get the memo that it's freezing outside and wanted to wear a Gap Playtime Favorites short sleeved dress today.  I insisted on the Hanna Andersson leggings and Gap tank to keep her a little warmer.  It appears she's also ready to skip right on over to Valentine's apparel after packing the Christmas clothes away yesterday.  The hair bow and necklace are from Dreamspun, purchased last week during their end of year sale.

9 Days Til Boxing Day!

When I bought this crewcuts tee I thought it would be fun to wear on December 9, because it looks festive. Of course, she was requested to "Wear purple" on that day of preschool. I rearranged my plans and figured she could wear it the 16th, when there are 9 days until Christmas. Then yesterday we all got up late, I forgot, and she wore the reindeer jumper.

Well, hey!  Let's celebrate that there are only 9 days until Boxing Day!  She's also wearing a Cherokee tutu and crewcuts gold sparkle flats.  The shoes are a 10 and too big, but we were staying home today so she just wore them for the photo.

Teddy's wearing his favorite shirt, a Gap firetruck tee.  I put a green and navy plaid shirt from The Children's place under it so the red and green make it "festive.

Indoor...

It appears that the weather has turned and we're in for some crappy indoor pictures for the next long while.  Boo.  I decided to try the throw them both in my chair backdrop, but neither of them wanted to cooperate.  They were ready to leave for Costco.

Tillie is wearing a Gap Playtime Favorites tee and leggings set I bought at Goodwill.  Yep, I found two matching pieces at Goodwill.  The top is a 5t, but it's not too big.  Since I hate the leggings as pants look I added a crewcuts skirt -- it's amazing how many outfits this skirt matches.  It's a 2 she's still rocking it.  I told her to put her cozy boots on and she came back with her dark brown Fuggs.  I guess the colors do match, but dark shoes on her just looks so weird to me.  (She has the Cherokee Fuggs in light and dark brown in size 8.  They're both from garage sales.)

Teddy's wearing Gymboree Teenie Weenie Puppies overalls from Goodwill.  The pocket on the overalls has a little stuffed puppy in it, which Teddy thinks is hilarious.  He's wearing a Cherokee bodysuit under them, which is a hand-me-down from Tillie.  His boots are Live and Luca.

Handyman

I bought Teddy this Gap Playtime Favorites "Handyman" tee last year on clearance because I thought Tim would like it.  Teddy likes it too!  When he saw it he said, "Daddy tools!"  He's also wearing Gap Naval Academy jeans and Livie and Luca boots.  I LOVE the look of these boots, but they are so hard to get on Teddy.  They fit well once they're on, it's just hard to get his heel down in them.

Tillie is wearing an OshKosh dress and leggings set I got last year, I think at a garage sale, but maybe during half-price day of a consignment sale.  It was good she wore a dress with leggings today because they went out to play on the playground at school.  Monday she said she was cold, so I made sure to send her in Fuggs too.

Birthday Ted

I just didn't have it in me to make a '2' shirt for Teddy.  On Monday I stopped in Gap and markdowns were 30% off.  I found this Playtime Favorites fire truck tee and knew it would be perfect.  Then I just asked if my birthday coupon for 25% off would work on top of it.  Wouldn't you know, but it did!  I got this tee for $4.  Perfect.  He LOVES it.  He's wearing it with Gap jeans, plaid Peek button-up and gray Converse.

Cookie Taster

It's going to be a warm day, but it's cool for preschool this morning.  Tillie's wearing a Gap Playtime Favorites "Official Cookie Taster" tee, crewcuts bubble skirt, Morgan and Milo shoes and Gap eyelet ruffle socks.  I got the tee at Goodwill for a dollar!

Arrgh!

It ended up being lovely out today, but it was still rainy this morning before we had to leave for Spanish Camp.  (Spanish Camp makes it sound so important, it's really just a shorter version of her Spanish immersion preschool.)

Ted looked pretty cool in this Gap pirate tee, faded red Gap shorts and light gray Cons.  I bought the shoes from Piperlime with a referral credit this spring so they were only $6.  Can't beat that!

Tillie wore a Gap Playtime Favorites dress I bought a long time ago in Lansing.  Sale was 40% off, plus I had a 25% coupon that stacked on top of it.  I bought a huge shopper full of things that day for so cheap.  A lot of it Tillie has worn already and some was for Kizie who was with me that day.  The hot pink leggings are Carter's I got at a consignment sale this spring.

Red, White & Blue Week

For the next week my family will be rocking red, white, and or blue to begin the celebration of the 4th of  July.

Tillie is wearing a Gap Playtime Favorites dress that we found at Goodwill a couple weeks ago. She had a tunic leggings set in this same stripe. We added the striped knit fabric so it was a little more festive. She picked the Keens, I would have gone with tan Salt-Waters.

Teddy is wearing a Crazy 8 crab shirt with Gap khaki shorts with navy Squeak Me sandals. The crab was appropriate for his mood while taking these pictures.

It's Still Snowing.

Tillie's rocking her crewcuts alpine cardigan since the weather outside isn't matching the season.  She's also wearing a Gap Playtime Favorites tank, Old Navy skinny jeans(about 2 inches too short, but okay tucked into boots) and Circo Fuggs.
(A sign of things to come -- he'll stand without holding onto anything.  Now I just need him to let go and walk!)

Teddy's wearing a Gap layered-look tee I got for $1 at Once Upon a Child, Gap jeans(that have finally succumbed to his crawling and have a hole in the knee) and Circo Dino slip-ons.  He's pointing to the dino here.  You can't see that he's also roaring.

A Warm Winter Day

The highest temperature I notice today was 56*, but it may have gotten slightly warmer.  I thought it would be a great day for Tillie to break out bare legs.  She was more than happy to comply!  She's wearing a Mini-Boden cake tee, navy crewcuts ruffle skirt, Gap eyelet socks and Morgan & Milo sparkle tennis shoes.  (It's gym day at school.)  She's worn all of these pieces before, but I don't think we've ever had them together.  This skirt is looking a lot shorter than last time she wore it.  I might need to measure her and see if she's grown recently!

I am not very good at doing hair, but I've been trying some new things lately.  I like how this half french braid turned out.  She calls it a "braid crown".

Teddy's wearing a Gap Playwear dino long sleeved tee, Peek plaid button-up and Gap Naval Academy blue denim.  I got the dino tee at Goodwill.  It's a size 18-24m, but it looked a little smaller than that to me.  I think it is actually a little too big, but it was pretty cute with this outfit anyway since it was layered.  Like he does most days, he wore his See Kai Run shoes when we went out.

"Here comes trouble!" was accurate today.  He took a short afternoon nap.  Boo.

Orange in November

We went to a craft sale this morning at Tim's school.  I thought it would be cute to coordinate my kiddos in some fall colors.  Tillie's wearing a brown Gap tank(Goodwill), Janie & Jack pumpkin sweater, crewcuts chambray skirt, Gymboree Halloween Harvest tights(Garage Sale) and Gymboree Butterfly Girl orange clip.

Teddy's wearing an H&M orange striped tee, Gap dark denim and Livie & Luca shoes.  If he had a brown cardigan, I would have had him wear it.

Their outfits make me want a pumpkin bar.

Another Birthday at the Fair

We took the kids and my sister to the fair tonight for my birthday.  It was a warm day, but you could feel that fall is in the air.  The kids got to wear long sleeves and jeans!

Tillie wore a Mini-Boden hedgehog tee(bought at a consignment sale this morning!), Gap tank and crewcuts jeans.  This tee is so freakin' cute.

Teddy wore a Mini-Boden dinosaur tee(from Nordstrom Rack), Gap jeans and Pediped shoes.
