Winter, Again.

After yesterday's endless rain there was snow today.  I only wish I were kidding.  It didn't stick, but still.

Teddy's wearing a Gap Sun Valley raccoon body double I got at a garage sale yesterday.  His jeans are Gap and shoes are See Kai run.  There's a tail on the back of the shirt.  So cute.

Tillie is wearing a Ralph Lauren rugby dress and Gymboree ruffle leggings with TOMS.  She at least looked a little spring-y on this cold day.  The dress is from a garage sale over a year ago.  (I think it was under a $1.  I know.)  I was reluctant to join the TOMS bandwagon, but when I found these on facebook for $8 I figured it was worth a whirl.  What do you know, I love them!  They're easy for Tillie to put on and look good with most things she wears.  Plus, she loves them.  Now I really want gray or red ones for Teddy.

Snow Day

First real snow fall of the year and it's a snow day for Tim!  While he was snow blowing the driveway I got the kids all suited up in their snow gear.

Tillie is wear a Gap Warmest Coat from last year.  I bought a 3t so she could wear it for 2 years.  I had tried the 2t on her last year and it wasn't ridiculous, so I thought it would work out.  It was about $22 on clearance.  Not too bad for a down coat she'll wear for a while.  The snowpants are Circo and I got them on clearance for $6.50.  The Carter's boots were a hand-me-down from her cousin.  The mittens are Gap Aviator.  The hat is from Old Navy this year.  I know I got them on sale, I just don't remember how much -- it wasn't too long after Teddy was born.  Sleep deprivation...

I bought Teddy's fleece outfit last year too.  It's from Gap's Sun Valley line.  I figured brown would work for boy or girl and it was just so cozy!  His hat is from Old Navy.  It matches Tillie.

Bear

Teddy's wearing his Gap Sun Valley bodysuit today with Circo jeans.  The Circo jeans are the "dorky" style with a wide knit waistband.  But hey!  They were 50¢ at a garage sale.  With this double layer bodysuit it covers the waistband nicely.  I love these kinds of bodysuits.

Cozy Bear

I bought this Gap Sun Valley bodysuit when I was pregnant, just in case I had a boy.  (I did do this with girl things too, just not as much because I might have quite a collection of girl clothes already.)  It was super-cheap and I love the layered bodysuit look.  It's 0-3 months, so it should fit him for a while.  It's too big now, but not too big that he can't wear it.  The Gap Greenwich sweater pants are newborn, so they fit him great.  But, with the different sizes he kind of looks like he's wearing a tunic with leggings.  Eh, he's a baby.  I promise I won't make him wear this kind of look when he's older!  At least he was warm tonight.

Oh, and his socks from The Children's Place look kind of dorky too.  Sorry, Teddy.

Squirrels

I don't think you'll be surprised when you see this shirt.  I pretty much had to get it for her.  The squirrel is holding an acorn!

She's wearing a Gap Sun Valley tee, Old Navy jeans, Ugg slippers and a So Dorable clip.

Winter Birds

This morning I asked Tillie if she wanted to wear her (Sun Valley) bird shirt.  She gave a very emphatic nod.  It was pretty cold today and I don't have her wear coats in the car seat so I added her Mount Snow Christmas cardigan.  (I always have her coat and an extra blanket or two in the car.)  It was another day where I was jealous of her outfit, but I would look kind of silly in a bird shirt.

Tillie picked this shirt out yesterday at Gap.  I'm not surprised.  It's wicked cute and there's a bird on it.  I thought it was appropriate to wear to the Gardens today.  She wore it with Old Navy jeans.
