4th Sunday of Advent

Look at these cute girls:
Tillie's wearing an outfit that fit last year and I loved it so much I checked to see if it still fit this year.  Win!  It does!  It's a Gap Lodge dress with a crewcuts ski cardigan.  She's wearing Target Fuggs and a DreamSpun bow.

Beatrix is wearing an Old Navy bodysuit and Gap St. Petersburg cord dress with Gap boots.  Both girls are wearing matching BabyLegs.

And my handsome Ted:
Teddy's wearing a Gap Desert Plains sweater(2012, but they make this style every year) with crewcuts cords and an Arizona button-up.  The cords are a 3 and too big, but he got a hole in his 2t chinos and I'm not buying another pair in that size!

More Christmas

Just when you think my pictures can't get any worse. I bring you these three, all with bad lighting and questionable focus.

Tillie's outfit was darling, but you can't really tell.  She's wearing a Jumping Beans tee and Gap Lodge skirt($1 find at OUAC!  I'm a sucker for that line.).  She never left the house, so no shoes.

Teddy's wearing a Gap button-up and Jumping Beans tee I got 50% off at Once Upon a Child this week.  It's hard to find boy Christmas tees that aren't a dog wearing a santa hat.  He likes this one, but insists that it's a dog and not a bear.

Bea's wearing a Gap thermal I appliqued when Tillie was a baby.  Her jeans are also Gap.  Her bow is Dear Grace & Parker and I made the velvet headband to use with different clips.

Party Clothes

We had our first Christmas party of the year with Tim's family tonight.  Teddy had to be woken up from his afternoon nap to get there in time.  He wasn't so sure about that, but once we got there he was excited.  He's wearing a Crazy 8 plaid shirt, Gymboree vest and red Gap skinny jeans.  I don't know how long he'll let me dress him in outfits like this, but right now he seems to like it so I'm going with it.

Tillie's wearing a Gap Lodge dress, crewcuts cardigan, flowered BabyLegs and Circo Fuggs.  She requested "princess pigtails", but also asked that they be "low".  She approved when I was done.

I wish Philip hadn't needed his camera back yesterday as these outfits were so cute, and I just don't think you can fully tell with this crappy lighting and my subpar photography skills.

And So It Begins

December 1, the first day of Advent.  My kids tend to have a lot of Christmas clothes, so we busted out some festive duds for church today.

Teddy's wearing a plaid Ralph Lauren shirt that was $1 at the thrift store with Gap red skinny jeans.  I got the jeans this summer when sale items were 40% off AND reward were doubled.  I hardly paid anything for them.

Tillie's wearing a Gap Lodge patchwork plaid dress that I had always admired.  Imagine my surprise when I found this one at Goodwill for 99¢!  (And I had a 20% coupon!)  The only problem was that it was a 2t, but I just couldn't leave it there.  When we got home Tillie wanted to try it on, so I let her!  I must run big, because while my girl is thin, she's not that thin.  The length is pretty good too.  So, if you're looking for this dress you can probably size down.  Her tights are from Gymboree and are size 3-4.  I really need to get new ones in a bigger size as her legs are too long for these.  They slide down all morning and drove her crazy.  I understand that one.

I'd say these thrift store Christmas outfits are a hit.  I love how their outfits look together, even if they didn't want to pose.
