What Does the Fox Say?

I had to get Teddy this Gap Poppy sweater when I saw it.  It helped that it was price killed and half off of that, so cheap.  We've finally convinced him that it is a fox and not a Tiger.  His shoes are Livie & Luca and his chinos are crewcuts.

Tillie's wearing a Matilda Jane dress from last year's holiday line.  She wore this often last year.  It's a little short this year, but with a tulle skirt under it I think it still works.  Plus, this year she will allow the sleeves to be long!  I just got the cream tights at Gap.  I had to size up to 4-5 from her 3-4 tights, her legs are too long for those.  Good news she says that these ones aren't itchy but are "super-cozy!"  Two weeks ago when I had her wear tights she said, "Mom, you say tights aren't itchy, but they DO feel itchy."  I told her if she wanted to wear dresses in the winter she had to wear them, so she does.

My camera battery charger is lost and my battery is dead.  I have a new charger coming, but in the meantime I've been using Tim's iPhone.  So, not the awesomest pictures...

Ski Bunny

This outfit is cuter in person that in pictures.  I just got her the crewcuts cardigan for $1 at Once Upon a Child's redline sale two weeks ago.  I couldn't believe my eyes when I found this size 4-5 sweater in the 2t section.  There was probably only 25 toddler girl items left, and this was one of them. Crazy! There was a t-shirt in this print that I wanted, but they didn't have my size left when they got marked down. I think it was from 2007 or 2008. I've always wanted it.

She's wearing it with a crewcuts tee, Gap Villa Centinale pettiskirt, Gymboree tights and Freycoo boots.  (Here's another outfit that I'd rather I had the red Freycoo boots with.  Boo.)
One crazy thing about this outfit is the sizes.
Cardigan - 4-5 (I think it's suppose to be 3/4th sleeves, so it should fit for a long time.)
Shirt - 3
Skirt - 18-24m
Tights - 3-4
Boots - 8 (But they're too big.  Are her feet ever going to grow!  Please hope that she doesn't do that thing where her feet grow over night and skip a size.  I have too many cute things she's never worn in size 8!)

Green & Leaves

I saw this jumper at Goodwill this week and thought it was pretty.  Then when I pulled it off the rack I saw it was Baby Lulu!  I've always wanted something Baby Lulu for Tillie since we called her Lulu before she was born.  This dress is size 18m, but since it was only 99¢ I bought it anyway.  For kicks, I tried it on Teddy when we got home.  It looked ridiculous for two reason.  He just looks too boyish in it and it was huge!  Since it was so big, I decided to give it a whirl on Tillie.  It's too short, but there's still room for more width when she's wearing it.  We added the Gap Villa Centinale skirt for some extra length and layered it over a polka dot Cherokee tee.  For whatever reason, Tillie really loves this dress.  She was mad that I made her change out of it for our Christmas tree cutting at night.

Gretchen

Tillie's worn this Matilda Jane Field Trip Gretchen dress many times, but it's still so cute.  The retro style and color just suits her.  She's wearing it with a Gap Villa Centinale skirt, Cherokee knee socks and Circo boots.  The boots are size 9.  I bought them last year at 70% off thinking her feet would grow a bit more than they did.  They're too big.

Purple Princess

Well, it's been one of those days.  Her outfit looks like a little princess, but she didn't act that way and promptly earned herself a nap at 12:15p.

She's wearing a crewcuts tee and necklace with a Gap Villa Centinale skirt.  The skirt is size 18-24m, but it's actually a little big.
