Happy Valentine's Day!

My sweet prince is wearing a Gap Valentine's shirt I got at Once Upon a Child for a $1.  It's the outlet version, but it appears to be more like retail quality.  "Mama, dis my crown shirt!"  He's a fan.  He's wearing it with Genuine Kid skinny jeans and red TOMS(the perfect shoe for this week!).

Tillie's wearing a DreamSpun vintage 'I've got a majorette crush on you' valentine tee, crewcuts cardigan, Hanna Andersson skirt, Old Navy Tights and Circo sparkle shoes.  How's that for brand mixing?  I bought the tee during an end of season sale in December and the tights were from last year.  It's not my favorite of the outfits she wore this week(I think that goes to Tuesday.), but she loves it.

Birds and Stripes

Today Tillie's wearing a Gap Valentine's Day bird tee(Goodwill?  Somewhere cheap!) with her H&M heart patch jeans.  (Which, H&M DOES have online right now.  The waist band is pink which I don't love, but if they get them in-store I'll probably pick them up-- if I have a coupon.)  She wore her pink mary jane TOMS at school.

Valentine's Day!

It's finally here!  You may have noticed that there was no post of their red and pink outfits yesterday.  That's because I had food poisoning and no one changed out of pajamas all day long.  (Something that I don't think ever's happened over here before.)  They were both wearing red, um, *cough* Christmas *cough* pajamas, so maybe that counts?  I might have at least Teddy wear the last outfit I was planning tomorrow.

Today!  Tillie's wearing a black H&M layering tee, red velvet Old Navy dress, Gap Valentines heart tights and black Stride Rite shoes.  I feel like this dress is already shorter than when she wore it at Christmas.  Crazy.

Tim even surprised her with a Valentine on her door this morning.

My little man Ted is wearing an H&M elbow-patch cardigan, The Children's Place gingham button-up, Gap Naval Academy jeans, Freycoo shoes and a sweet little heart bow tie that I made him.

The tie didn't turn out exactly how I planned, but since it was sewn entirely out of material from my stash it's just perfect for likely one day of wear.

Maybe sometime when I'm borrowing Philip's camera I'll dress them up again so I can get better pictures of their outfits.  I think they look so cute together today.  (Not that they don't every day, but, you know.)

Summer 2012 Staff Kid Shirts

Um, yes.  You read that right.  The staff kid shirts didn't come in until after we had moved home from the summer.  Because of that, I just ordered sizes that would fit the kids next summer.  Teddy's is a 2t(24m was only available in a bodysuit and I wanted a tee) and Tillie's is a 3t.  Oh, then there's the fact that they're wearing them today.  We had to take a new staff picture because the original was lost. Tillie and Teddy weren't in the first picture, so this was a bonus for me!

Teddy's is layered over a Camp acorn thermal and Tillie's wearing and Old Navy tee, crewcuts skirt and Gap Valentine tights.  W e had to find some way to girly up the boxy too big fit of the tee.

And I've now used this picture on both of my blogs and facebook.  I love it though.

Red Tulle and Red Plaid

Tillie wore her Gap Valentine dress from last year today.  I bought it in size 2 because I thought she had enough 18-24m clothes.  Ha!  I'm sure she has more 2t now.  Oh well, it's wasn't too big then and it fits great now.  She's wearing it with Gap tights from a garage sale, Circo ruby slippers and a crewcuts cardigan.  I probably should have saved this outfit for the 14th; she just looks like a picture perfect valentine!  But, since it wore it last year on Valentine's day I thought we'd do something else then.

Teddy is wearing a Gap Little Red fleece one-piece.  It's size 3-6 month, but he wore it a few times around Christmas too.

Valentine Week Begins!

If you were a reader last year you may remember that Tillie wore red and/or pink every day the week before February 14.  We're at it again!  Teddy will probably not participate everyday because he doesn't have enough of the right colors.

Tillie actually picked out all of her outfit today except for the tights.  She's wearing an Old Navy tee and denim mini, Gap tights and Circo shoes.  Teddy's wearing a Carter's bodysuit, Gap jeans and TrumpetteToo socks.

Their expressions in this picture should be switched around for a more accurate depiction of our day.

Hearts

Here's a little Valentine's Day preview for you all today.  It's not red and pink week yet, but I couldn't resist waiting any longer to pull out these Gap heart tights I got at a garage sale last summer.  I bought the navy short-sleeved crewcuts dress on sale last summer and the crewcuts cardigan is from a year ago.

Red Tulle and Pink Hearts

Tillie's Valentine dress and tights are from the Gap.  I'm happy her black and red See Kai Run shoes still fit because they are perfect with this outfit.
