Warm Spring!

Today felt a little more like early summer!  I was more than happy to pull some warm-weather clothes out of the closet.

Teddy's wearing a Rabbit Moon button-up(later I rolled his sleeves and I liked his outfit a lot better), crewcuts chino shorts and TOMS.
Bebe's wearing a Janie & Jack Summer Picnic dress over a Carter's bodysuit and Cherokee shoes.
Tillie's wearing a Georgia Grace dress, DreamSpun shorties and Salt-Water sandals.  (This dress is one I bought with a credit I won a couple years ago.  It's a 4 and it's finally fitting how I'd like it to!)

Sweet Little Flowers

I decided to try this 6m Georgia Grace top on to see if it would still fit.  It was ginormous last summer, so I thought there was a good chance.  It's getting pretty small, so it won't work this summer, but at least she can wear it now!

Just For Fun

This morning I just couldn't deal with winter clothes, so I pulled out this Georgia Grace top.  It's a 6m, but seemed really wide so I wondered if it still fit.  It does! Just, but it worked with Gap jeans this morning.  (Until she spilled something all over it and I had to change her.)

Petting Farm

Tillie thought her Georgia Grace 'Simple Life' halter would be perfect for the petting farm because it has chicks on it.  she'd also trying to convince me that it's good for staying home playing since it has clotheslines on it.  We'll see about that.  She's also wearing Gap jeans, Salt-Water sandals and a DreamSpun bow.

Teddy's wearing a crewcuts striped tee with Gap jeans and shoes.  He vetoed my first choice of a gingham button-up, but this actually matched Tillie better anyway!

Bea's wearing a Gap Outlet denim jumper with a Carter's bodysuit.  Her headband is Dear Grace & Parker.

A Southern Sunday

I found this Kelly's Kids lobster Jon-Jon at a thrift store last summer for $1.50.  I'm so glad it finally fits him!  Salt-Water sandals were the obvious footwear choice.

Tillie's is wearing a Georgia Grace Kalidescope Yoke dress from last spring.  It's a 4 and still is a bit big.  I'm just glad still can fit into her Livie & Luca Blooms at the same time.  Her bow and necklace are DreamSpun.

Bea is wearing a Georgia Grace  top from last spring that I got on sale.  It's a 6m and too big, but it was the most "Southern" thing I had for her to wear.  (No great bubble rompers or bishop dresses in her closet right now. ;) )

Mish Mash

No one's coordinated for church today, but everyone looked cute.

Teddy's wearing a crewcuts jersey polo, Cherokee seersucker pants and Salt-Water sandals.

Tillie's wearing a Georgia Grace halter with homemade red shorties.  I also made her necklace.

Bea's wearing a Carter's dress.  It was only $1 at a Mom2Mom sale and it still has the matching diaper cover!

Repeats

So, it's Labor Day weekend -- it'd be crazy if they were wearing a summer outfit for the first time!  Most of the new things they've worn this month were either pulled out of a bigger size bin or just "restyled" with other pieces.  Today they're wearing outfits exactly like they've worn them this summer already.  They were still cute at the market, so I decided to take pictures anyway.

Tillie's rocking a Georgia Grace 'Simple Life' halter with homemade red shorties.  I also made the necklace.

Ted's mad that he's not eating more blueberries (or the macarons that weren't at the Market today!) so we have a pissy Ted picture.  He's wearing a Cherokee polo and Gap faded red shorts.

Also, matching tan Salt-Water surfer sandals.  It makes me smile.

Double Outfit Day!

While the weather has been absolutely delightful the last few days, it is a little cool for August in the morning.  I didn't want the kids to be too cold at church this morning.  Tillie wore an outfit I've posted about before, but it's just so pretty I couldn't resist posting it again: crewcuts tee, Georgia Grace Whimsy knot dress, yellow Salt-Water sandals and My Little Pixies hydrangea clip.  Teddy's wearing a Crazy 8 polo and Gap Dressy Styles patchwork madras pants with navy Pediped shoes.

After church we drove out to my hometown for a local church's "Race Day".  They have hot dogs, a car show, a craft fair, kids games AND firetrucks.  Kids are free to check out the firetrucks which made my son's day.  It might quite possibly be the highlight of his life so far.  He wore a Carter's dino tee and madras shorts from The Children's Place.  (If I had been thinking I would have had him wear a fire truck shirt.  I wasn't thinking.)

Tillie wore a Carter's dress that Aunt Betsy gave her for her birthday.  I had her wear it once at Camp for a few hours, but then I realized there was too much white on it and it was way too cute on her to get ruined.  Much better for wearing around town where there's less dirt.  I made the clip to match her Easter outfit in 2011.

Not Really a Post

In the crazy moving to and from and to Camp this week, I haven't taken any pictures of my kids outfits in a while.  Most of them aren't worth photographing, to be honest.  Or, if they were, Teddy is beyond messy within 15 minutes of getting dressed.  I'm going to have to take pictures immediately after dressing him at Camp!

Anyway, here's a picture of Tillie in the Georgia Grace Simple Life halter that I took a few weeks ago.  My mom bought it for her and I made red shorties to go with itfrom Old Navy leggings.  They're both size 5 and a little too big.  She might wear it once or twice later this summer, but suspect it will be worn a lot next summer because as soon as I showed Tillie the shorties she said, "Are you going to take my picture?  Let's do it now!"

I also made the necklace.  I can't wait until it all fits well!

Brightly Colored Shoes

I love bright shoes.  It just makes me happy looking at them.  Today after preschool we came home for a clothing change for Til and headed out to a local park to take some pictures.

Tillie wore a Georgia Grace dress my mom bought(with a facebook contest credit!), crewcuts gardening tools navy tee and yellow Salt-Water sandals.  I love this dress so much.  It's a size 3, but I like the shorter fit.  I think shorter dresses are more retro and younger looking.  Teddy wore Gap gingham overalls, a Carter's bodysuit and red Crazy 8 slip-ons.
This is going to be hanging on my wall very soon.

Teddy's overalls were only 50¢ at the thrift store, so even though they're size 6-12m I bought them.  I was planning on saving them for a future baby, but after washing them I decided to try them on Ted.  I actually love the way they fit on him.  It's nice to have something that actually fits around his waist instead of hanging on him.  And, the "manpris" look is kind of hipster-ish, or at least they would be if they weren't gingham overalls on a baby.

To school Tillie wore a Carter's dress from last summer as a tunic with black crewcuts cropped leggings.

Blues

It's a perfectly lovely day today.  We had breakfast with friends, ran to Target, hung clothes on the line and the kids are now taking a nap.  Now, if only my house wasn't such a mess!

Tillie is wearing her Georgia Grace knot top and ruffle pants layered over an H&M short sleeved tee.

Teddy is wearing Gap jeans and a Carter's plaid button up from Reuben.

Knot Top

When I pulled this Georgia Grace top out of Tillie's closet I kind of thought it would be too small and I was planning on putting it away in the 2t bin.  Tillie saw it and insisted on wearing it.  I knew the matching ruffle pants would be too short for winter, so I paired it with her crewcuts jeans.  There was still room to layer a Cherokee tee under it, so I think she'll be able to wear it again this summer without anything under it.

"Off-campus"

Tillie and I went to our friend Chay's baptism this morning.  I think Tillie is getting a little too used to the older babies at Camp because she wasn't so sure about Chay.  She wore her Georgia Grace knot top and ruffle pants.  It was great layered in the winter worn with boots and equally cute with Salt-Water sandals in the summer.

Posing by the tree.

You may be seeing a lot of pictures of Tillie in this chair this winter.  It's hard to take a picture of her in the house without her running away from me.  I can do it outside, but not in my tiny house.

This is a new outfit we just got from Georgia Grace Designs.  These two pieces are from the fall 2010 line - Midnight in the Garden knot top and Midnight ruffles.
