Sweet Polka Dots

I met my cousin and her kids at the Gardens today and during the downpour promptly left my camera in the car.  So, there are no cute pictures of Tillie and Liza hold hands.

Last summer Carter's mailed me a $10 of any purchase coupon.  It was awesome!  I got this polka dot dress and a tee for 50¢  I layered a pink Carter's bodysuit under it since it was rainy day.

Ruffles

I love ruffle pants.  These are Matilda Jane Delilah ruffles from the Hammond Bay line.  I bought them during a sale last summer.  She's wearing it with a pink Cherokee layering tee and a brown ruffle front tee from Old Navy.  I wanted her to wear her cream bow, but I couldn't find it.

Sweet Blue Girl

Here's another garage sale outfit from last year.  I was a little curious because the pants are size 18-24m and the top is a 3.  They're from Gymboree's Floral Patchwork line.  Kizie had these pants and I'm pretty sure they're suppose to be full length, but they look pretty cute cropped too!

She really does look good in blue.

A Sunny Tuesday

Tillie didn't want me to put her shoes on today.  When I said, "you need your shoes on so we can go to the mall", she quickly complied.  As soon as her shoes were on she was to the door ready to go.  My mom saw it, so I'm not making this up.

She's wearing a polka dot Crazy 8 dress and a pink Cherokee tee for layering.  This dress shows how long her legs are.  It's a 2t.  It's a good thing I think short dresses are darling on little girls because it's pretty much her only option!

"Shoes!"

Tillie happily squealed "Shoes!" when I pulled this Cherokee shirt out for today.  It's still cool here, *sigh*, so I added a striped Land's End cardigan along with her Gap jeans.

Another Outfit I'm Jealous Of

Today's outfit is randomly pulled together.  It's another cold spring day here, but I needed spring colors.  I found this top super-cheap last summer at Old Navy.  I'm pretty sure it was super-cheap because it was suppose to be a 2-piece set.  I'm guessing a ruffled diaper cover or bloomers.  Obviously it's too cold for a sleeveless top, so I added this Gap Outlet cardigan I got at a consignment shop for a $1.  Her Children's Place jeans are borrowed from her friend Lainey.  Hooray for an adorable super wallet-friendly outfit.

Spring Dressing on a Cold Day

I've packed away Tillie's winter dresses because it just seemed weird to wear them in April.  The problem is, it's still pretty cold.  Tillie's Blueberi Boulevard dress is the first of a couple spring church dresses she has.  The BabyLegs footless tights are a pretty close match and a navy crewcuts cardigan goes over pretty much anything.

I love this dress.

Today we feature a dress that Tillie had in 12-18m and I loved it so much I tracked it down in 2t as well.  This is the first time I've done something like that, but this simple white Gap dress is so perfect for layering.  Today I put her Matilda Jane Stargazer Pearl over it.

Spring Romper

Tillie shook her head no to every dress I pulled out of her closet this morning.  I then decided to not give her a choice and pulled out this Gymboree Hula Baby romper.  She had quite a few Hula Baby outfits last summer.  In fact, the 12-18m cardigan still fits and she wore it today.  I made her take off the J. Crew bracelet before church.

Happy Spring!

Even though Tillie had to miss chuch this morning because of a cold, I still dressed her for the first day of Spring.  She's wearing the ever adorable Matilda Jane Wendy dress.  It's getting a little short, but I can't bear to pack it away.  I guess I should make some ruffle pants to go under it.  I added the Matilda Jane Mighty Acorns track jacket and white BabyLegs because there's a little chill in the wind today.

Spring Layers

A crewcuts Clara Bow dress over Matilda Jane Bouquet ruffles was perfect for running a few errands tonight, even if Tillie wanted to stay home and play with her rediscovered outdoor toys.

Umbrellas

Tillie wore a knot dress I made her from the Romeo and Mae pattern.  It's a size 2, but I think it's too big.  I like my knot dresses a little shorter and more fitted.  I'm guessing this dress will fit her a little better next year.  It's still super-cute though!  She's wearing it over a Cherokee tee.

Pretending it's Spring

It's not quite warm enough for socks without shoes, but I knew it would be toasty at the Gardens today.  Tillie is wearing another hand-me-down from Kizie today.  This Gymboree romper is adorable on her.  (I haven't found the line name yet, I need to check the tag for some more info.)

Swedish Stripes

There is just something about those kid clothing designers from Sweden that suck me in.  I think it's all the stripes and super-soft cotton.  I bought this red striped tee at a consignment sale last fall.  I was shocked to see Polarn O. Pyret in my small town.  Gymboree is usually "top of the line" at local sales.  Tillie is wearing it with another pair of her friend Lainey's jeans.  These ones are from Carter's.

Rose-y Girl

Tillie's wearing the popover pinafore I made her with a bright pink Cherokee tee today.  The Genuine Kids jeans are on loan from her friend Lainey.

Um, why does she look so grown up today?

Groceries

Tillie and I had to get groceries this morning because I put it off all week.  She wore an Old Navy tee and jeans.  The cardigan I got at a consignment shop for $1 recently.  It's Gap Outlet and is size 6-12 months...

She didn't want to pose for me today.

Tulip Pinafore

I made Tillie a new popover pinafore for spring.  Thankfully, she loves it.  She's also wearing a Carter's bodysuit, Old Navy jeans and Umi shoes.

Spring Colors

We're dreaming of spring over here.  I just couldn't put another winter outfit on Tillie yesterday when the sun was shining so brightly.  She's wearing an Old Navy stripped tee over a Cherokee tee.  Her jeans are also Old Navy.  She's sporting her new Umi shoes for spring.  They arrived from Amazon yesterday.

Little SchoolGirl

Another warm day so Tillie and I both broke out skirts -- with no leggings or tights!  Tillie wore her Gap Indigo tee and Gap denim mini with a crewcuts cardigan.

Smocked Pink Flowers

Today was our official Princess Diana day.  I wish I had a dollar for the number of people who said, "Look at the little princess!" at the museum today.  Lunch would have been free!  She did look sweet and darling in a First Impressions smocked sundress with a Cherokee tee underneath.  I would have looked cuter with white eyelet socks, but it was a little too cold today for bare legs.  Pink Circo tights it is!
