This morning after waking up Tillie decided she should dress up like a princess today instead of her pirate costume. It wasn't too hard to pull together a princess costume with things from her closet.
I bought this dress after Christmas 2 years ago. I just think it's gorgeous. It's from the Gap Powder Puff line and it's one of her Christmas dresses this year. The necklace Auntie Kiz gave her for Christmas a couple years ago. Her headband/crown is crewcuts and we just bought the bronze Circo sparkle shoes this week. It's a pretty good outfit for a morning at the mall with all those brands in there!
Teddy's wearing a Gymboree monster costume I bought on clearance last year. It's a 2-3 and he'll definitely be able to wear it next year too. (Although Tillie already has next year's costumes planned for them.) His MAM pacifier even has monsters on it!

Trunk or Treat!
The kids went trunk or treating today, but these pictures are from a couple weeks ago when the weather was nicer.
Teddy's parrot costume is from Gymboree. I bought it last year for less than $6. When Tillie heard Teddy was going to be a parrot she said, "Well, I guess I need to be a pirate then!" She already had the red tutu(garage sale, no brand) and Cherokee boots. The striped tee is a Gap shirt I had bought ahead at a garage sale for Teddy. The sash was mine from J. Crew years ago. She borrowed the sword from Uncle Philip and we bought the hat at Party City.

Orange
Yesterday when I was talking to my cousin's about holiday wear, I realized that I had a unisex 18-24m Gymboree Halloween pumpkin tee in the attic. I don't love it on Teddy, but he did think it was pretty funny. He's also wearing Osh Kosh jeans and Stride Rite shoes. The kids were both going outside to "help" Tim with the leaves.
I bought Tillie this Gymboree Harvest Leaves cat tee at a garage sale for 50¢ a couple years ago. It really doesn't fit her well -- it's too wide and the sleeves are too short. It's the only Halloween tee she has this year so it will do. She's wearing H&M heart patch jeans and Stride Rite shoes.

Pumpkin Tee, Revisited
There's really a definite time limit on this shirt, so we washed it and wore it again today. This time we paired it with Target Fuggs, Pretty Time orange tights and a Gap denim mini.
Later in the afternoon we went to camp, so she needed something a little warmer. She ended up with this 'Après-Ski' look featuring Hanna Andersson Livable Leggings(90s, the 80s were in the wash) and her Tiny Tangerines owl hat.

My little Pumpkin Pie
She's matching her Bitty Baby today. The pumpkin shirt is from Gymboree last year and the leggings are Circo. I made the bow. It's a little big, but I kind of wanted that look with this unisex shirt. Her shoes are See Kai Run.
