Signs of Fall

Today for Show and Tell Tillie could bring something that reminded her of fall.  She came up with a long list, but some things were difficult to "show". (When it starts getting colder and you need cozy clothes.  When the flowers start to close up to go away for the winter.)  She settled on a pumpkin, which sounds like it was the most popular option for other kids as well.

Believe it or not, it was Tillie's idea to wear this Mini-Boden apple pocket skirt($4 at the JBF sale last week) and Gap apple boots.  I added the brown Mini-Boden top and Sew Sweet Stitches apple clip.

Also, she strategically placed those leaves in the ground around her.  Her idea, not mine.  This girl LOVES fall.

Bea is wearing a Baby Lulu dress that has acorns, leaves, pine needles and pine cones on it.  It's another Once Upon a Child $1 find.  The Gap Chelsea boots were Til's

It's Almost Gone

Check out how small the snow bank has gotten!  By the end of Spring Break all the snow in the yard just might have melted.

Tillie is wearing her Matilda Jane Wendy dress.  It just makes me so happy.  I'm glad that I have another girl coming to wear this and the size 18m one again.  She's also wearing Polka Dot Pearl crocheted lace leggings we bought at a sale yesterday.  They were only $5!  I bought them in pink as well.  They're both size 5/6, so she'll get a lot of wear out of them.  Her clip is from Sew Sweet Stitches on etsy and I love how it pulls the blue out of her dress and ties to Ted's shirt.

Teddy is wearing a crewcuts short-sleeved button-up over an H&M layering tee.  His Sonoma chinos have a hole in the knee now.  They didn't before church, but they did when I picked him up from nursery.  I'm glad I've been saving his crewcuts ones for Easter!  I still think I need to get him another pair though.  It's hard to find chinos with legs that aren't crazy wide on him -- at a price I want to pay!

Opening Day Apparel

Tillie and Teddy are both rocking their Camp staff kid shirts today.  Tillie is wearing 3t khaki shorts that she's already worn the last two summers.  They're decidedly shorter now.  Teddy is wearing turtle embroidered shorts from Gymboree's Turtle-y Cute line.  My mom bought them(and a matching plaid shirt) last fall when Gymboree had 50% off markdowns and we had a 20% off coupon.  We got TONS of 18-24m shorts for Ted this summer.  They're pretty much all too big.  I love that his shorts basically go to his ankle and you can't really see Tillie's shorts under her shirt. (Well, throughout the day, I pulled them down for this picture.)

Acorns!

Teddy is wearing the acorn bodysuit I made for Tillie's first summer at Camp.  Tillie is wearing the acorn tee I made for her last summer.  As you can see, we're having a great day.

Indian Summer

You may think I took a week off from blogging here because I just had a baby.  But no, it's just been 80* for the last week and Tillie's worn summer clothes that have already been featured on the blog.  Today it's a high of 75*, so I went with jeans just so I could put something "new" on her.

This outfit is from Gap's Corsica line.  The (outlet) jeans were from the lot I bought on craigslist and I actually found a matching top at a garage sale a few weeks later.  They're both a 3t, so the top is a little big, but the pants are long enough!

Cool Fall Day

Today for church Tillie is wearing a Mini-Boden cordoroy dress that was part of the lot I bought on craigslist.  I layered it with a white Cherokee tee(I really need to get to an H&M to get her some white layering tees.) and TrumpetteToo tights.   Her clip is a really good match to the blue in the flower and is from Sew Sweet Stitches on etsy.

Is there nothing the Pearl can't do?

After I took Tillie's sweater off this morning I quickly peeked in her closet to see what she could wear with minimal outfit changes.  Ah, the Matilda Jane Pearl.  It was once a dress and now is a darling swing top.  I'm just glad she can wear it so long because this would be one item that would be very hard for me to pack away.

Coffee

Tillie immediately picked out this Mini-Boden tee at Nordstrom's Rack this week.  She saw it and said, "Coffee!"  It's really tea, but I'm not going to argue with her.  When she showed it to Tim she told him it was "Coffee.  Dirty."  I guess she can't decide if it's coffee or just a dirty cup.

She's wearing it with Jumping Bean bermudas, Salt-Water sandals and a Sew Sweet Stitches clip.

A New Camp Dress

Tonight was the commissioning service for this summer of Camp.  I made Tillie this dress out of one of the new colors of acorn tees this year.  It was a little cooler than I thought it would be, so I layered a white Cherokee tee under it.

Red

Tillie's wearing a red long-sleeved tee I got for 80¢ from Old Navy, her 25¢ garage sale jeans, hand me down Circo shoes and a Gymboree Cupcake Cutie(outlet) fleece hoodie that's from a garage sale.  I can't remember how much I paid for it, but I know it was cheap!  The clip is from Sew Sweet Stitches on etsy.

Later I realized it was quite cold outside so I added a Gymboree Folk Song hat that had been Kizie's.

Back To School.

Back to school time!  Apples, jumpers, knee socks and backpacks.

Not today.  It was around 90*.  We went to Tim's school for a picnic this evening.  I pulled this Carter's outfit out of the closet and ditched the bodysuit.  I added a Sew Sweet Stitches apple clip and she's fully decked out for a new school year.

Camp Visit

Tim had to work at Camp today, so I dressed Tillie appropriately for us stopping by.  I bought this adorable Gap denim mini last summer.  I wish they made it in my size.  The polo is from Old Navy and her clip is Sew Sweet Stitches.

Opening Day at Camp.

New campers are checking in today.  That means staff shirts for the whole family.  The staff kids 'shirt' this year is adorable.  It's a drawing of the Ford Workmaster tractor camp has with kids riding the trailer.  I had the acorn clip custom made from Sew Sweet Stitches.  Her Tevas are great camp shoes and are from a consignment shop.
