Light Blue

We cheated a bit today with our light blue staff kid shirts. They missed wearing them on opening day last week, so we thought the last full day of this session would be appropriate.  Tillie is wearing hers with a navy crewcuts shirt and Ted has his with red Gymboree Beach Crawler shorts.

Liberty and Stripes

I love this Liberty of London for Target dress.  It's a 3t and Tillie wore it last summer on Sunday during red white and blue week too!  Keens, blah, blah, blah, Camp shoes.  Thankfully, she really likes this dress too.  I think it will officially get packed away now as it's getting a bit short.

Teddy's wearing a Gap outlet polo and Carter's shorts.  The shorts are from Once Upon A Child's dollar sale last summer and the polo is either from a garage sale or Goodwill.

Red, White & Blue Week

For the next week my family will be rocking red, white, and or blue to begin the celebration of the 4th of  July.

 Tillie is wearing a Gap Playtime Favorites dress that we found at Goodwill a couple weeks ago. She had a tunic leggings set in this same stripe. We added the striped knit fabric so it was a little more festive. She picked the Keens, I would have gone with tan Salt-Waters.

Teddy is wearing a Crazy 8 crab shirt with Gap khaki shorts with navy Squeak Me sandals. The crab was appropriate for his mood while taking these pictures.

Stripes

We're all rocking stripes today.  Tillie's wearing a Gap Cannes dress with crewcuts flip-flops.

Teddy's wearing a Jumping Beans set from Kohl's.  The shirt makes me laugh, the shorts remind me of Mini-Boden and were both purchased cheaply with a 30% off coupon. Win-win-win.

After breakfast at Camp we went to the market and ate French macarons.  Lovely.  My kids wholeheartedly approved. (And then we brought Uncle Philip's camera back. :( )

Preppy Baby

I think it's been well documented that Teddy is a little smaller than I expected him to be.  I hit up a garage sale recently where I found a handful of things in 18m that should fit him better for at least the first half of summer.  (Please, let's not talk about the matching Christmas 2t outfits that are sure to not fit him in December.)  The patchwork madras shorts from The Children's Place and Ralph Lauren polo are two of his new items.  It was a little cool this morning, so I layered the polo with a Carter's bodysuit.

Father's Day Produce

My kids "match" today because of embroidered fruits and veggies.

Tillie's wearing a 3t Gymboree Strawberry Farm pinafore dress.  I I to have her wear it once this summer because it's so darling, but it is a little short this year.

Teddy's romper is from the Gap Peter Rabbit line.  I lucked into this romper in 18-24m on price kill for under $5.  This line was very well done and it's noticeable in little things like the carrot and radish placement. There is one perfect spaced radish on each sleeve.  They're centered throughout the rest of the romper and the whole thing is lined with soft jersey.  Ted's still a little short for it, but I think it will fit nicely come August. (And hopefully I'll get a better picture of him in it by then!)

Purple and Dinosaurs

Tillie is wearing a Ralph Lauren oxford dress today.  I got it super-cheap at a garage sale and it was missing the sash.  I just added a purple grosgrain ribbon I had in the basement as a belt instead.  She loved her purple ensemble.

Ted's wearing his Carter's Dino shirt and Gymboree Prepster Pup seersucker shorts.  He gets so excited every time he sees this shirt.

So Sweet

How darling are my two kids?  I mean, seriously!

I, along with two friends, ordered Tillie's dress wholesale.  It was a group of dresses that we split among our daughters.  All for the price of $11.50 each!  It has a soft knit cotton lining and the tulle isn't scratchy.  Tillie loves it.  Teddy's longalls are Mud Pie that I found at Goodwill.  He's kind of fond of the alligator.
