Nearly 4, Going on 14.

Sheesh, if she doesn't look old in this picture.  Okay, it's not just this picture.  It's in real life too.  Even her teacher commented on it the other day.

I love this crewcuts nautical tee.  I tried to convince Kizie to get one last year, but no dice.  Luckily I still have strong powers of influence over Tillie.  All I had to do was point out the heart on the sleeve and one of the anchors and she was sold.  Her cropped jeans are crewcuts as well, but I got them at Goodwill!  I couldn't believe it when I saw them.  They're a size 3 and have a red anchor on the right cuff.  So cute.  Luckily she's skinny and I don't have to worry about these getting too short.  She'll be able to wear them all summer.

I vacuumed out the van yesterday and found her Gap heart sunglasses.  She was happy about that.  We packed up all the size 7 shoes except for these Pampili ballet flats.  They still just fit.

Ladylike

We've got Tillie's other $5 H&M dress on today.  She wore it many times last spring, summer and fall.  It's just such a sweet dress.  It suits my girl to a T.  She's also wearing a crewcuts coral ruffle cardigan and pearls with Pampili shoes.

Girl is growing!  This dress wasn't so short last year.

Butterflies!

We went with my mom and Kiz to the Gardens today.  We dug in Tillie's 4t bin for this crewcuts 4-5 butterfly shirt.  She's also wearing crewcuts(almost too short size 3) jeans, striped cardigan and necklace with Pampilli light-up flats.

The back of her shirt says "en route".

Teddy is wearing a Gap Cabana short-sleeved button-up over a white Carter's bodysuit and Gap jeans.

Not What I Was Planning

I had big plans for the Gardens this morning.  Last night I carefully selected outfits for them to wear.  We left early in the morning so it would still be cool enough for them to wear sweaters.  I packed a bag of snacks to keep them happy.  I borrowed Philip's camera yesterday so that I could pretend I knew what I was doing taking good pictures this week.  (I don't, I just luck into a good shot here and there.  Well, good-ish.)  I even packed the extra battery in case we needed it.

The memory card, however, was not with us.  It was still in my computer from uploading pictures last night.  I still wanted to document their outfits so I took some pictures with my cellphone.

I bought Teddy's Gap button-up bodysuit at a garage sale this Spring.  His Carter's cardigan was purchased from a friend via a Facebook garage sale site.  The jeans, shoes and socks are also from Gap.  He looks like such a little man!

Tillie is wearing a cream Cherokee polka-dot layering tee, crewcuts ruffle-front cardigan, crewcuts jeans and Pampili shoes.

Tillie's Choice

Tillie pick out her outfit today.  The only thing that I added was the bow.  She started with the Gap socks.  She wore them around the house with her pajamas for quite awhile.  When I told her it was time to run errands I pulled out a Mini-Boden hopscotch tee that has that coral color in it.  She would have none of it and insisted on this navy crewcuts tee.  She didn't seem to want to wear anything else, but I told her she needed to wear a skirt.  Not surprisingly, she picked her favorite crewcuts ruffle skirt.  I tried to direct her to the brown Morgan & Milos, but again, she insisted on these Pampili light up shoes.  "See MOM!  They MATCH!"

My favorite reaction of the whole day was what she did when I asked her to pose.

Green at the Gardens

I dressed both of my kids in shades of green today.  Teddy wore his argyle crewcuts cardigan from Easter with  a Carter's bodysuit and Gap jeans.

I also put these suede boots from Gap on him.  They're size 6-12 months, but they're HUGE on him.  I'm sure he'll be able to wear them this fall.  I got them a few months ago when sale was an extra percentage off and they were on their final markdown.  I think they were around $3.  Anyway, they remind me of J. Crew MacAlister boots so I had to get them.  (I don't even really like MacAlister boots, but they're too cute in baby sizes.)

Tillie wore an outfit that I featured on the blog 11 months ago.  She found the dress in the closet and asked to wear it.  I then went up to the attic to find the pants since it's a little too short to wear as a dress.  She wore the Pampili light up ballet flats again along with a My Little Pixies felt flower clip.

The pants are much more cropped than they were last May.

Sunday Afternoon

Tillie found these Pampili shoes in her closet yesterday and really wanted to wear them.  They're a little too big so I didn't think they'd work for our day of hiking around Camp.  They were still in the living room today and she insisted on them.  They're a pretty good match for the crewcuts dress that I bought at the outlet over Spring Break.  This dress is a little short, so I'm going to have to find leggings for her to wear under it.

I had my mom buy the shoes for her from MyHabit last summer.  I didn't know it when we ordered them, but the toes light up.  Tillie thinks this is awesome.

Teddy is wearing a Gap bodysuit(Reuben's) with Gymboree Doggone Cute pants.  It's a really great match for brand mixing!  He has a matching bodysuit for these pants, but I just haven't gotten a picture of it yet.  My mom found it on sale shortly after he was born.
