Christmas Angel

Because if you can't wear a star tiara/headband to church at Christmas when you're 4, when can you?

Tillie's wearing a Gap sweater dress that I bought last year at Christmas with rewards and a sale.  My local stores never had it, but when I saw it online I just had to have it.  Thankfully she's okay with long sleeves now because these wouldn't roll very well.  Her headband and necklace are crewcuts, her tights are Gap and her bronze sparkle shoes are crewcuts.

Teddy, well, Ted doesn't have as many Christmasy themed outfits as Tillie.  So many of them seem to feature dogs wearing antlers which just isn't my style.  I tried to get him some more things this year and just didn't find anything.  He's wearing a Gap Le Marais gingham one-piece and Military Prep cardigan.  He wore this recently, but it still does look vaguely festive with Christmas so close.

A Bonus

The bonus to Teddy being small is that he can still wear 18-24m clothes from the baby boy section at Gap.  I found this Le Marais one-piece romper for $3.50.  Seriously, you can't pass up a whole outfit at that price.  His Gap Military Prep cardigan goes with it quite nicely.
Whoops!  Cut off his head today.

Brown is still the color of the month for preschool, so I figured she might as well wear some more today.  I got the Mini-Boden shirt at a consignment sale for $2(?).  The Matilda Jane Greta in Calico skirt was $2 at a garage sale because it has some blue stains on it.  I tried to get them out, but didn't have much luck.  Since there are so many patterns on the skirt they're not as noticeable as they could be.  And well, she's at preschool.  That's where nearly all of Tillie's stains come from, so she might as well wear it there.  Her Osh Kosh brown mary janes are from an end of season sale at Kohl's a while ago.  They're a pair I had bought for last winter, but then her feet stalled in growth for awhile.
She was freezing, so this dorky smile was the best I got.

Café

I wasn't too excited when Tillie's preschool calendar said to wear brown today.  As we looked in closet last night I'm really happy with the outfit we came up with!  She might wear it to a family dinner we have on Sunday!  She's wearing (a size 2, it runs HUGE) Matilda Jane Fawn dress, Hanna Andersson red leggings, Circo Fuggs, a Dreamspun necklace and a twine bow from a craft fair.  I bought the dress ages ago during a sale and it finally fits her well.  The Dreamspun necklace we just got to wear with her (garage sale!) Thanksgiving dress.  It should work with some of her Christmas dresses too.

Teddy's wearing Crazy 8 skinny jeans, Carter's rocket tee and Gap Military Prep cardigan.  You know how about a month ago I said I took all the 12-18m clothes out of his closet.  I missed a few.  This tee and cardigan are 12-18m.  At least the jeans are 18-24...even if they are girl jeans.  But, as you can see it all actually fits him well.

Mr. Man & Girly-Girl

Today Teddy is rocking a heart tie bodysuit I made when Tillie was a baby.  I sold a few of them then, but this tie was crooked so I remade it for my friend.  This one I kept and it's never been worn, until I remembered it this weekend.  It worked well under a Gap Military Prep cardigan and Naval Academy skinny jeans for church today.

I love this guy.

Tillie's wearing a Lands' End dress (from last year I pulled out of the attic), Matilda Jane Sparkletown knot, Lands' End knee highs and Emu boots.

Christmas Outfits

This year I didn't save any outfits just for Christmas.  I've done that in the past and they end up only wearing it that one time!  I liked the things I had this year too much for that.

Tillie is still in her hating long sleeves phase, so I decided to just be crazy and let her wear the Matilda Jane Pearl under the Sparkletown knot.  She chose to layer two crewcuts necklaces and picked the orange boots.  Definitely not the most Christmas-y outfit she owns, but she loved it.  She spent most of the day wearing the fairy costume Kizie gave her anyway.

Teddy is wearing his Gap Maine bodysuit and cords with a Gap Military Prep cardigan.  I had really wanted him to wear his lobster bodysuit on Christmas, but it has some mysterious red stains on it that I can't get out.

If for some reason you're dying to know - Tim's pant and button-up are J. Crew and his cardigan is Old Navy.

Christmas Monster Remix

We're making the most out of all our Christmas themed clothes over here this week.  Teddy wore his Gap I Want Candy thermal monster tee again today, this time with Gap jeans and a Gap Military Prep cardigan.  The cardigan is kind of random over this thermal, but there's something about it that I like.  I think his outfit last time he wore this was cuter though.  I got these Robeez boots for $1 at a garage sale when I was pregnant with him.  They're size 6-12m and fit this small footed child just fine.  I like them because I can be lazy and not look for matching socks.

Yes, I think he knows how cute he is.

Golden Autumn

I took the kids to Robinette's this morning for some doughnuts.  Tillie's wearing a gold Mini-Boden cord dress(again),crewcuts cream tissue tee, crewcuts jeggings and Morgan and Milo mary janes.  Teddy's wearing a gray and gold striped Gap Military Prep v-neck tee, Gap jeans and See Kai Run shoes
